It's like that for native speakers too. If the idea is really good I'm willing to let it slide, but there's a point where even I click out of it.

One of my favorite fic writers very obviously doesn't use a SPAG beta. Entire words are skipped in sentences. "wry" and "rye" are mixed up. Things like that. But it's only a few times a chapter and the ideas are still good so I just... ignore it. (she's gotten better the more fics she publishes. She also churns multiple multi-chapter fics out per week so I will sacrifice some quality for quantity)
