Agreed so hard. A lot of people seem to think this 'entitlement' thing only goes one way. It's like the awful trend recently of artists on tumblr getting mad at people for only liking a picture and not reblogging it, or claiming it's disrespectful to add comments when you reblog. Like, holy shit, how ludicrously entitled can you get? Just because you created something doesn't mean you get 100% control over how people choose to enjoy it or show their appreciation for it.

It's especially ridiculous considering the same people often happily pirate the shit they're drawing fanart for.

claiming it's disrespectful to add comments when you reblog

I don't get this at all, especially when the supposed reason is "it clutters the artist's dashboard". And all those likes/reblog notices don't?

It's even weirder when they do want comments, but only in the tags. Like, yeah, I get there's an add-on that lets you read someone's tags (if you over the reblog notice?) but most people will only use category tags so how is it better to keep hovering over the notices than see the comments at once?

It can't be loading time from the picture showing up several times because the majority of people I've complaining about this have endless scrolling on their blogs.
