He didn't create much manga, but it looks like most of them are available in English. The one in the secret is titled Tropic of the Sea in English, and it's been on my to-read list for awhile.

I haven't read this, but I've picked up his short-story collection, Dream Fossil, and his unfinished last work, OPUS -- which, appropriately enough, was a metafiction about the relationship between an author and his works, what rights and obligations one has with the other, and whether one can survive the other. Incredibly good, though I wish he'd had the chance to finish it.
