But I'm a Cheerleader is a good movie made by a lesbian if you like ridiculous 90s camp. Other than that I don't really know cause I am a lesbian who hates most ~lesbian~ media so I am as interested in recs as you are.

I would like to say that all of Jamie Babbit's movies fall into this category, but I'm pretty sure I'm the only person in the world who liked The Quiet, and even I don't like Breaking The Girls that much.

Nothing. It is literally all aimed at men. If lesbians happen to enjoy it, great, that's more money in their coffers, but these things are always made explicitly for the enjoyment of men. Like how Brokeback mountain wasn't aimed at gay people, it was aimed at the straight white men who give out oscars.

Ummmm I can say as a lesbian that there IS some stuff aimed squarely at lesbians but the more expensive something is to make and promote, the less likely it is to be for us. The lavender dollar being rather insignificant and all that.
