Haha remember when Hetalia fanfic writers wouldn't give Sweden any vowels?? Diction is insanely annoying to read, I have read so many writing books that say "don't fucking spell it out, we all know how he talks."

As someone who hasn't actually watched beyond the first episode of Hetalia - why wouldn't Swedish have any vowels? I'm a Scandinavian, but this is the first I've heard of that ever.

Th's kind of acc'nt was scanlators' choice to put across the Japanese dialect the mangaka used for him. It was supposedly a tough guy kind of speech. But fandom turned it 'p t' 'l'v'n.

Personålly, it wöuld häve been funniår like this.
