That's totally understandable. I myself just wrote a scene for a pro gig where two largely-straight guys have sex with each other, and it was tough to walk the line of acknowledging that these guys are basically straight without it coming off as "NO HOMO LOL". The important thing is that you're thinking about and acknowledging these issues, and making an effort to treat them sensitively without just throwing your story out the window.
