Well, if they were raped/otherwise abused as a kid by a Gorillaz fan, or with their music playing in the background or something, I could see that being a problem for them. And honestly I think most tumblr over-categorizing stuff comes from people trying to figure themselves out, and, often, from thinking that everyone should be similarly interested in that level of self-discovery navel-gazing, and if you're not interested you're dismissing something that they use to make sense of the world and themselves. If it bugs you because you think it's silly or histrionic or annoying, just block them.
