I hope you see this.

What I have is that my brother hooked up a Roku to my computer which basically streams to the TV. Then he added me to his Netflix account and also added a bunch of various "channels" including Plex and PBS etc. The Plex is awesome as he got a bunch of movies and TV shows, downloaded them and made available on Plex for my mom to watch.

There is still a separate DVD only option.

I have no idea how Netflix is supposed to work normally on TV's, if you need a Roku device or not. I'm sorry I'm not that technologically savvy!
