Teen Wolf: With the exception of "MOUNTAIN AAASHHH!!" and "DEMON WOOOOOLLFFFF" ("Also, I've always been the alpha!!!" and maybe coach's ID4 speech), cheesy is not a word I would ever use to describe this show, and I don't understand why so many people do.

But I've asked, and people have noted things they think are cheesy...and I just don't see it.

Even with the late additions, I'd expect more than a handful of lines to call an entire series cheesy.

The over the top villains are some of the best parts! If I ever become a super villain, I am going to dramatically yell my lines all the time.

Personally, I think it can be, but honestly... That isn't even necessarily a terrible thing. I liked when Teen Wolf didn't take itself too seriously; I found the first two seasons more fun than anything after. I found 3B a mix of fucking amazing and wtf, and everything after I didn't like. I hear that the show has gotten more serious since season 3?

Anyway, you listed the worst offenders I think, but I am too lazy to think of other stuff. If that means it doesn't exist so be it.

Ahaha, somehow I'm so immune to cheese that I never stop to think of how fucking weird it is that Derek does that. He's such a ridiculous broody bitch he reminds me of Angel from Buffy. Thank goodness the show pokes fun at him incessantly, otherwise I couldn't adore him.

Yes, I did. I'm just saying, if they were able to spot a handful of cheesy lines, there's clearly some cheese, and people have different standards. It's not like this is serious art we're talking about; Teen Wolf exists on the line between "mediocre" and "complete cheese" at any given time.
