IT'S ALMOST HERE! JUST A FEW MORE DAYS AND I'LL BE ABLE TO PLAY IT!

I am sooooo excited. I never played Ground Zeros cause I didn't want some shitty stop-gap demo, I wanted the whole thing and it's nearly heeeeere! I feel like a virgin bride on her wedding night, I'm pure and untouched by the penis Ground Zeros. All the waiting is about to become worth it!

I actually do get that kek is the new lol, but I treat each new iteration of the original classic with increasing disdain and AIRT is a 4chan escapee.

I don't know if I'm going to buy it at launch or not, or even what I'd play it on. I imagine I'll end up playing on 360 or ps3 even if I'd rather play on PC because PC will probably require steam and steam doesn't want to install from disc for me.

Also, the whole “There aren't many cutscenes" thing bums me out. I'm not sure how accurate it is (I've only read a couple non-spoilery reviews, and would like to keep it that way) but the hour long cutscenes are one of my favorite things about MGS! (Not joking.) I know gameplay is important too, but the story will always be what I care about most so I just hope they did that aspect justice. I was SO excited when the first trailers were released and the thought of experiencing Big Boss' decent into villainy is exciting but part of me is worried there isn't enough focus on it.

I am so fucking weak, this reminded me of the new trailer so I went to watch it and of course there was that massive Metal Gear and Big Boss transforming with the devil horn, and I thought, “Look, if you don't play it now you'll be spoiled to hell and back, and you know how you'll react to that."

I mean buying the game on disc and using that to install from instead of having to download 60+ gigs. (I think that's an accurate estimate? Idk.)

I know you have to be online to install, but if I have to actually download the full game then it isn't an option for me.

I just checked. It's 28gb, which is only slightly over Dragon Age Origins with all the DLC.

Wolfenstein: TNO was 40.

Haha, I didn't download DA:O though!

Now I did download the DLC, but I basically did that one at a time and had to watch my Internet usage. I wish it weren't this way, but it is.

I checked Amazon and there's no disc edition at all for PC so looks like I'll be buying last gen console.

26 gigs is ridiculous but still way better than I thought.

Tbh OP could probably just watch a let's play. I just read that you'll be able to upload your Ground Zeroes file into Phantom Pain but I doubt it's going to make that much difference.

Ground Zeroes had good gameplay, but I just don't see why it was a standalone.

(I know at one point Kojima said it might be included in Phantom Pain...is that not happening? There was GZ footage in the trailer, though I suppose that could be a flashback. I was thinking if GZ was included in the game that the save file might give people who bought it extra shit in game; fatigues or something.)
