Exactly, it seems to fit! I suppose it could be another anime featuring mermaids... But I don't follow anime that closely so I couldn't say.

I know there were at least a few CD's and maybe books after the series ended, so there's probably more I haven't heard about. Now I'm curious as to what's changed.
