(Anonymous) 2015-08-28 10:12 pm (UTC)(link)They're supposed to be fine once they're cooked, and they're loaded with minerals and antioxidants and all the good stuff. My Greek immigrant grandfather used to forage for wild greens (although he could seldom get his Americanized kids to eat the result) and Greeks serve nettles and a lot of other wild greens blanched and dressed with olive oil and lemon. They also make hortopita, which is like spanakopita only made with wild greens.
