You remind me of someone I know who also hates it for the babies and the misuse of their "mother tongue". Or maybe you're the same person. 1) Give the series a try and figure out what the babies are about. 2) Congratulations, you've discovered Japanese people using other languages. They often fuck it up. There's nothing you can do about it.

1. I suppose that I could. Or I could also use that time to check out one of the 52985 series I keep telling myself I should check out one of these days as opposed to finding out about something that really does not interest me in any way, shape, or form. *shrug*

Actually, I might one of these days, just to just because it bugs me so much. But it's not on my top priority list.

2. I speak English, I do indeed have some observational skills, and I'm in fandom. Of course I've noticed. That doesn't really stop it from bugging me, though. Sorry, I just can't get desensitized to the rape of a language that I understand.
