Has anyone used this site? I'd love to make some friends but it's difficult to find people with the same interests. This site has a few groups in my area that I'm interested in.

I'm super shy though, and I feel like it'll be awkward. Have any of you met friends this way? Or, do you have any other suggestions on how to find people with similar interests?

Ooh never heard of that, interesting. I'm super shy/awkward too with fairly narrow friendship compatibility. Currently too busy with young kids to have much of a social life but I'm so lonely, I feel like a bit of a loser chatting on the 'net even though I have a good time :/

Any experiences with this site do tell.
