Yeah, no. Most scanlation aren't even that hard to find and most scanlators sites make very obvious what they have, so someone going after them for legal reasons would have a easy time getting proofs against them.

If they really wanted to be careful, they would be releasing them annonimously and let people to share it freely would free them from most part of the risk since it would make harder to pinpoint to original source.
