I like villains who enjoy it. I don't want ansty villains. Angst is for heroes. Villains should enjoy being evil. Villains should know what they are doing. Sometimes they justify it to themselves or think they are doing ultimately good. But my favorite villains are actually the ones who know it is wrong and don't care. And I like theatrics. Villains who put on a show or who are grand and powerful and scary.
