The core of the video isn't politics, but it isn't female rivalry either. The core of the video is a fucking take on on gangster/crime flicks. You are projecting a whole lot on to Rihanna, sounds like you're the one who has Freudian issues to work out.

Please, it wasn't about gangsta/crime flicks. The whole backstory and motive of the music video was a real life revenge fantasy for Rihanna and her past accountant that left her broke in 2009.

You're doing a lot of reaching yourself there.

A revenge fantasy against an accountant that was clearly visually and thematically inspired by crime fiction, the same way Tarantino flicks are. None of these things support the weird female cattiness angle OP is selling.
