That's exactly how I feel and I just can't seem to join in when people start going "omg what she did in this episode totally sends the message that women are like X" because I want to go "it doesn't mean anything like that! It just means this one person is like X!"....but at the same time, I can totally understand where they're coming from and why they feel like that's the message being sent. Especially because I'm sure the writers are influenced by the "women are like X"/"this character needs to represent women" thing too.
