Re: Mosquito bites

With all due respect, scratching an X into the mosquito bite is not a good idea. Injuring the site more (even a mild injury such as a scratch) will lead to more inflammation and make the site itchier. If you break the skin, you also increase the chance of infection.

Try putting an ice cube on it for a minute and the next time you're at the drugstore, get a tube of hydrocortisone.
