It depends on how I know them irl and if I share fandom with them.

Like, if it were a co-worker who only has a tumblr to post picture of cars and talk about their kids, I would be weirded out. But, if it were a co-worker who also wrote fic and liked some of my same fandoms, then I'd probably be cool with it.
