I do find her funny sometimes, but I also find her utterly obnoxious in every possible way. Every other character on this show is likeable or at least gets moments of being likeable. But she is 100% a piece of shit and I have honestly no idea why a) she hasn't gotten fired yet, b) anyone on that show voluntarily talks to her.

IA. Just about everyone else has their moments of being an utter little shit with more redeemable moments, but she doesn't really get the redeemable moment part. Not enough to make up for what a jerk the character is. If I knew someone like this in real life, I'd avoid them and I wouldn't think they were funny at all.

I kind of have to agree as well. I think she does improve around season 2, enough that I didn't hate her quite so much, but she really is low on the "redeeming qualities" scale.

I think the way she went with Captain Holt was a little redeemable, but then again, that was one tiny moment in a show that's starting its third season, so...

Yeah, she's not an easy character to like.

There was that time she offered to buy Jake's apartment so he wouldn't have to move out.

But yeah most of the time she's just an unrepentant jerk egomaniac. I find it entertaining enough not to hate the character, but she's not nearly as endearing as most of the others are.

Her relationship with Jake has had some moments that worked pretty well for me, otherwise I definitely agree.

She's one of those characters where I like to watch her on TV but if I had to interact with her irl she'd drive me up the wall.

I didn't like her at first, but she grew on me and is one of my favorites now. There's a really good ep in S1 that goes more into depth with her and her relationship with Jake, and after that I couldn't help but like her more.
