So that Damon Wayans comment...

I'm actually surprised he was that stupid. Does he not have a PR person?

I believe the question is not whether he has a PR person, but whether said person had someone watching his online activity. The answer is apparently no.

Uh woooow. I don't think he's saying anything a lot of people/guys aren't thinking anyway, but this was not wise, because he went too far even for this culture of frequent rape apologism.

To be honest, it's not that risky of a comment for him. As much heat as Cosby has gotten (and as much as I personally think he deserves all of it and more), there are many, many people who secretly and not-so-secretly think this way-- that bitches be crazy, gold-diggers, blah blah false rape accusations can destroy a man's life won't somebody think of the poor men blah blah blah...

Also, he's 55. He is officially an old fart, and I've never noticed him to have a particularly positive outlook on feminism or women. Maybe he really is a rapey asshole, maybe he wants a piece of publicity or to suck up to Cosby, I have no idea. But I'm glad he said those things because now we know what kind of person he is.

False rape accusations CAN destroy someone's life, and it's really shitty of you to act like that's some stupid catchphrase to laugh at. And no, I don't think the accusations about Cosby are false, so don't change the subject to that.

DA ...I don't really see how this comment in any way follows on from the one it replies to.

They didn't say it couldn't? They're talking about how a group of men think every rape claim is false, and they're just out to ruin the guy's career. I mean, the moron said the women were unrapeable bitches looking for money. It doesn't matter that Cosby already admitted in court to drugging women, or that there's fifty victims who have come forth, and have been saying this for years.
