Sera and Vivienne

(Anonymous) 2015-09-06 09:32 pm (UTC)(link)
These two get the most hatred of any character I've ever seen in the fandom, yet when Solas expresses similar views to Sera, or when Vivienne expresses similar views to Fenris, they're reviled for it, whereas excuse after excuse is produced for why it's okay that Solas or Fenris said what they said.

And I like all of these characters. Fenris is one of my favourites. But it's not okay that there's such a double standard.

I find myself wishing that more people would sit down, decide on a character whose view they are assessing events through the POV of, and run with that.
