Pierce is super old.

At the end of the series, Jeff was 41 as of sometime in April and Annie was 24 as of December. So, roughly a 16.5 year age difference.

Doesn't faze the fans, from what I've noticed.

I personally don't mind either pairing. I think the older Annie gets the less of an issue the age gap would be, and a relationship between Britta and Jeff would be full of constant snark, but I think for them, that setup would actually work in an odd way.
