I love your list. Mostly because I'm rereading the Star Wars books and really love the women. Padme, Leia, Mara Jade and Jaina really are incredibly strong, self-sufficient women

Yup. I love the Star Wars women. I also should have added Mon Mothma to that list because she's pretty awesome too. And I'm pretty fond of Nomi Sunrider too (and forever bitter that we never go the book on her).

Mon Mothma is another good one.

I would have loved a book on Nomi Sunrider. I'm more upset about the loss of whatever was supposed to come after Fate of the Jedi because I really want to know what happens between that and the Legacy comics with the Fel Empire.
