Re: What character would you find more interesting if their gender was swapped?

I thought about this, ran threw the last few fandoms I thought about, and realized swapping any of the 30-something generic white male video game protags that everyone complains about into a woman wouldn't make them any more interesting as characters beyond the novelty factor that they're women. I'd prefer they stay men because the women part wouldn't change anything and they'd be just as boring with a gender that felt tacked on.
