I've actually never seen any of the Halloween movies except H20, which, admittedly, I watched because I was going through a Josh Hartnett phase. I did like it, though. And I've seen bits of the original. That painted Shatner mask IS creepy.

God, it's been so long since I saw 'H20'. But I remember liking it overall, too, yeah-I think it continued the story well enough.

I haven't seen all of the films in that series-mainly just 2, 3, and 4, I think. They can get a little goofy with the overall storyline the series sets up, but if you're looking for good scary movies to pass the time for an afternoon, you could do worse, I think.

The mask is very creepy. Just this blank, expressionless thing-having someone look at you while wearing it, even if they aren't a killer, would be very unnerving.
