Ergh, yeah, I don't think I could stand to watch air crash shows, either. At least plane crashes in movies and TV series are fictional. Watching something about the real thing? Uh-uh.

(On the note of freaky fictional plane accidents, though, there's an episode of the original "Twilight Zone" that involves that happening, which makes the events of the episode as a whole that much scarier. It's actually my favorite episode of the series, though, which is odd, because it creeps me the hell out every time I see it.)

He's really into the mechanics of airplanes. He watches a lot of general airplane shows on channels like National Geographic. Whatever. To each their own. It only bugs me when he puts one on while I'm in the room given that he knows that I can't watch them and doesn't seem to care that he's basically kicking me out of the living room.
