(Anonymous) 2015-09-09 11:36 am (UTC)(link)My parents watched it while it was airing and bought the DVD's. One day I happened to watch it out of boredom and thought it was amazing. Then I had my soul crushed when I realized there wasn't another season. I mean, I've had shows I liked get cancelled but Firefly was such an interesting and unique concept with a lovable cast of characters... it's just a shame.
Other shows that get cancelled are usually the same type of shit, police drama or office comedy that we've have a hundred other similar shows. Others shows that get cancelled have just run their course. Firefly just stood out a lot more for people. That's why it's a good example for the pain of unfairly canceling a show.
