Actually I agree? I mean, I'm by no means annoyed by it and I don't care how many sites that it's post it on.

But if you're writing a popular pairing fic you're going to be getting enough attention anyway and if you're writing a rare pairing fic then by god the fans of that fic will hunt that mother down.

But you know, advertisement is fine if you want to do that.
