Idk, I've seen Sherlock and Sherlock & John constantly get mistaken for a couple and even have an ~awkward moment~ where they fear the other is interested. John's girlfriend calls Sherlock his "lucky girlfriend" because they're so glued together...

I'm not even a shipper and I think it's hella weird. Would be called blatant will-they-won't-they with a het couple.
