The SHIELD Codex stuff. http://archiveofourown.org/series/181178

Yeah, yeah, it's a whole damn genfic series of Loki on a redemption arc, but I'm not interested in basic apologia. He committed awful crimes, they're on him. Full stop. My shtick when playing with villains and their morality is more like asking them 'How bad do you want to live?' and then putting them through a woodchipper to see what sort of answer I get.

(My most favorite piece before this was a story called Requiem that I did for LOST's Ben Linus, and explored some of the pre-history of becoming a murder-bot asshole. I loved him. He was an asshole.)

I'm proud of the whole damn series so far, but An Honest Man is probably still the best piece.

I was going to bookmark this last night and forgot. I'm not in a Loki mood at the moment but, next time I am, this is first on my list!

Know how the moods go. Hope you get some enjoyment out of it whenever you do get around to the story!
