Re: Queerbaiting shows?
If we're talking "Gay? No, of course I'm not gay! Why would you even say that? SO HETERO!" then the show doesn't do that.
Off the top of my head there's a scene in season one where Steve's talking with Danny on the phone and a man who overhears their conversation assumes that Danny is Steve's wife.
"Are you talking to your wife?"
"I'm talking to my partner."
"Your partner?"
(Something like that, anyway.) Steve doesn't go, "Not as in life partner, I'm totally straight!" though he might say "I'm a cop".
And then there's a scene where he and Danny are staying in an apartment on a stakeout and an elderly lady barges into their room and doesn't want to leave. She thinks they're together; Steve tells her that they're cops (because he wants her out of their hair for a bit), but Danny says he should've let her think they were a couple. Neither get weird or seem offended by the suggestion.
They do have a lot of 'shippy' moments, but IIRC nothing that makes them seem defensive when the topic is brought up.
Now, they DO seem to have some flirty moments (Especially in the first season, like when they both dress in tuxes...the look Steve gives Danny when the car of girls pulls up is very amused and flirty) that I guess people might have issue with considering they aren't canon, so maybe that's what OP is talking about.
