Having played Okami, Jak & Daxter, Ratchet & Clank and I-Ninja, plus Sly Cooper (okay maybe obsessed with this play style of game)

Sly Cooper is really the one game where NOT getting into battles is encouraged. The idea is to be sneaky. (You get more loot that way.) Sure, you've got your big boss fights, that end up being a mostly a lot of dodging, but the point of the games isn't constant fighting. Sly 2 started some "team battles" Stuff but they were exceptions and not the rule.

The story under Suckerpunch was really good, the dialogue was funny and the visual style of the game was unique for the time. Sly 4 was entertaining but left off on a bad note for a lot of fans so that not making Sly 5 makes us angry.

it's a cartoon thief/ninja game with a talking raccoon and his best pals a turtle and an albino hippo. It's fun. I try not to take it too seriously.
