7... My. My god. Why didn't I see it before? A woman he doesn't have to put a slave crown on in order to get her to obey him? How could Mr K not be all over that?! I mean, sure, the part of me that is my childhood innocence and values cry out against it, arguing that Kefka is so purely insane and driven by everything's end to ever even consider letting some lovesick twit follow him around, but the adult part of me that says 'screw your morals I got crack' tells me that this is the OTP I've been waiting for all along!

... Well, you'd think they wouldn't need to be watching subtitled versions in the first place, I suppose.

Aaah, perhaps I should've worded that 'understands' japanese, rather. Because they might have a pretty good grasp but feel the need to be aided by subtitles anyway because it's easier that way. In any case, my point still stands: wouldn't SOMEONE have noticed this take place? Wouldn't fans who COULD understand japanese flawlessly and watched the RAWs go 'wait whut' when people babble about stuff that didn't take palce? It.. kinda feels like doing something like these would be discovered before long.

Oh, I dunno then... I may have assumed that the group in question only subs a lesser-known series, so it has less fans, less people who can speak the language and therefore less dissonance when said subtext comes up in discussion. Personally, I just find it funny; I think there's a good chance they can get away with it, too, even if someone realizes that the subs are off. If I were in that situation, I'd probably brush it off - there's lots of things in fandom I don't fully get anyway... :/

I dunno, I still do even though I can speak Japanese well enough now. Fansubs are easier to find than raws, anyway.
