Oh, I'm definitely not saying that big eyes are a manga only thing. But yeah, the first link you posted, that's exactly what I'm talking about. As well as 'how to draw manga' books, whenever I see them I want to hit whoever thought it would be a good idea to do that. Like this (http://image.misterart.com/grouppix/528x352/3000/g3796.jpg). I... have no words, honestly. But I found something that made me totally lol. Someone's lookin' kinda cool... (http://www.coverbrowser.com/image/how-to-draw-manga/1-1.jpg)

I just realized that's not American but the principle is the same. (I don't know how I didn't notice, the first words I read after 'how to draw Hentai' were 'Sexy Kleidung'. Average Americans probably wouldn't know what that meant. lol)

But yeah, I have no problem with good art that's influenced by manga, or even if it's in the same style. Just don't do what some anime junkies do in my art class, and take other people's work (usually official artspreads from the mangaka themselves), copy it to only half the original quality, and claim it as their own. GUH. That really ticks me off.
