Some people have no choice but to trust fansubbers because they don't understand the language being translated - hence the point of a translation. It's true that you don't necessarily expect professional level work from hobbyists, but purposeful deception? I'm sorry, that's bullshit.

Well, I agree that it's a bit stupid, but I don't see why people are getting so worked up over this. I mean, I have no idea which series they're talking about, but you should never trust fansubs to be 100% accurate, be it on purpose or not.

Besides, it's not like some dubs are any more accurate. Take 4kids for example. I'm sure whatever innuendo they're adding in their subs can't be worse than replacing all the important dialogue with stupid puns, and making pretty much every single character horribly OOC.

And I'm sorry, I understand what you mean, but I just find it way too funny for some reason. And it's not cause I understand japanese, cause I don't (not enough to watch raw anime anyways), so I'm not saying this to be like "LOL learn japanese then".
