I like her because she's funny. She gets funny lines. She makes funny faces. She embodies a stereotype usually found in fat middle aged men, only she's a young girl. I also find this funny.

It's Konata's job as a character on television to entertain us. Those of us who are successfully entertained will wind up liking her. For God's sake, deal with it. Why is that even a secret? "I don't like this character, waah." Poor dear.

Well obviously your reaction shows exactly why it's a secret.
Poor dear? I hate Konata (and the series) with a passion and I'm not afraid to say it out loud, but it's not the case for everyone, unfortunately.
