This depends entirely on the exact nature of your feelings and on how strong they are. As long as you don't feel the need to stalk your crush to see if they've been taken advantage of or to write hate mail to their partner, as long as you don't think about this obsessively as you go through your day, you're fine. Crushes (and human emotions in general) work in weird ways.

And, like, it's perfectly normal to worry a little about this or that aspect of your crush's life? The fact that they're a celeb changes nothing.

Exactly. I mean, I have a weird crush on the Property Brothers (the only reason I watch the show, it's like Joey Tribiani and Baywatch), and if they're walking around with a pretty woman I always go "GET AWAY FROM MY MAN!" :P But I don't... actually mean it. It's a joke. I know this is a bit different from OP's case, since she does worry about the celebs being used, just saying you're allowed.

These are my feelings. I think weird stuff like that about my crushes sometimes, too, celebs or not. Basically, I just want them to be happy and well.

And if it's a celebrity crush, considering the way Hollywood can mess people up or how warped relationships there can be, it's natural to want to hope that your favorite celebrity can escape some, if not all, of that mess and turn out okay. I certainly much prefer seeing my favorite celebrities in the news for good reasons instead of some trashy tabloid crap or criminal reasons, y'know?
