I have, but my skype is specifically for online friends. Its not connected to anything else about me irl really. Also I have become very close friends with some people on the internet, so it doesn't bug me giving it to them.

same. I advise having an account that doesn't have too much RL info attached to it; it's generally useful. Then, as you'll become closer to the friends in question, you can tell them more about yourself.
