There's also the fact that LGBTQ actors can - and have - played non-LGBTQ roles. I'm not saying it's a perfect world for LGBTQ actors, but I think it's improving and I don't find the idea of actors from one group (LGBTQ or non-LGBTQ) playing the other inherently offensive because it can go both ways. It can still be offensive in *practice* though, but I'd consider that to be more situationally dependent.
