Oh man Eragon was just... terrible. The books were alright but the movie was nothing like it. Pretty dragon though.

It really was. But then again, I think the first two books were mostly terrible. I liked the third one and really enjoyed the fourth. But I mostly saw the movie for Saphira (who was also my favorite character along with Nasuada).

Oh I'll agree with you on that, the first two are kinda meh but they do get a bit better. Ha, yeah Saphira was the reason I saw the film as well.

I liked the first... 20 minutes or so? While the dragon was still a baby. Then he throw it up in the air, it flew, returned fully grown and I expected it to be a symbolic scene transition to show time had passed.... and then the guy went "OMG you're fully grown!" and I realized what I was in for.
