(Anonymous) 2015-09-13 12:24 am (UTC)(link)It felt like a detour, basically, or a filler episode. I don't know whether I'll change my mind after reading Broken Homes & Foxglove Summer - maybe some of those elements become more relevant later on.
That's basically my thoughts as well about Peter & Nightingale. I totally understand how it might appeal to some people, but the dynamics feel too mentor-y and familial for shipping.

But the Faceless Man arc is very much up and about! And I believe we're in for an interesting resolution a couple of books later.
