I mean I guess I can see where you get plastic, but honestly I find the art very good, very effective and kinda cute.

I have a hard time seeing why this is so bad it would put you off a show you like the premise of, but whatever.

The face and glassy eyes scream Disney but cheap. The hair texture, body (especially those arms), and backgrounds look like something out of MikuMikuDance.

Eh I guess.

I just don't see why that's enough to refuse to watch it alone. But then again for me the art has to be pretty bad and non functional in animation for me to quit it because of looks. Looking "kinda cheap and generic" doesn't seem like enough for "I like the idea but refuse to watch based on looks"

I just think its kind of an overreaction personally.

I totally agree. Even just seeing this screencap is enough to make me glad I don't watch the show. I feel like trying to watch a whole episode would give me some kind of previous unknown nausea - like motion sickness, except in response to tacky, overly CG-perfected animation instead.

awkward 3d pigeons aside, that old PV is SO much better

Not a big fan of the moe faces, ahoge, or the eye-rollingly anime cliches but at least it was fluid, dynamic, and fun.

Apparently they WERE planning to do both versions... but only if the 3D version panned well. They're literally holding the obviously superior version hostage.

From what I saw in "I Know That Voice" it certainly seems to be a small world. This series is a joint Korean, Japanese and French effort though so maybe it's more tolerable in those languages.
