I was going to post this amazing sesame strawberry spinach salad recipe I make, but I can't seem to find it. I found one that is close online, though mine also has walnuts and bacon bits and scallions.

Does it taste okay without the dressing? I love strawberries, I love spinach, but I hate salad dressing and oils on veg.

Oh. Yes. If you have the scallions and the walnuts and the bacon and strawberries and spinach, that is enough flavor on its own. I've eaten it that way before.

All I can think of is salads and cold cuts. And maybe some cold soba and no-bake desserts. Salads are pretty easy to wing though, but I don't usually keep a recipe on hand aside from recommending shredded cabbage, sliced almonds, zucchini, dried fruits, cheese, and whatever else you can throw in them.

This Spanish-style Thai salad is google translatable and also delicious.

Chinese Cucumber Salad

This is delicious. Although I recommend airing out the house during and after making it:

A NOBAKE CHEESECAKE

[personal profile] herpymcderp 2015-09-16 03:37 am (UTC)(link)
1-2 packages of cream cheese, depending on how much filling you NEED
500mL cream, whipped
1-2 cups powdered sugar (to taste)
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tbsp. lemon juice
*add ins

10-20 graham crackers or other crumbled cookies
2 tbsp. granulated sugar
3 tbsp. melted butter or margarine

Smash up dem crackety grahams and mush 'em together with butter and sugar. Smoosh them into a pan.

Smush around the creamy cheesy cheesy cream with powdered sugar (helps to have everything at room temp). Whip you up some cream. Put x in y and add your flavours and *add ins. Slop it over your crust. Slap it in the fridge for a couple hours until everything is set then FUCKING EAT IT LIKE A SAVAGE OH GOD YES CHEESECAKE.

*whatever man! oreo bits, peanut butter, chocolate shavings, sliced fruit, crunched up candy pieces... sky's the limit! you can also change out the vanilla and lemon for like ...rum or rosewater or key lime or whatever floats your boat. This shit is stupid versatile.
