Well, I've never had an abortion and hope I don't ever have to make such a decision... but I would not rule it out.

I don't want children to begin with, I never want to feel a child in my belly, but if I did ever want kids and it turned out there was a disability, it would depend. If the disability was enough that there was no chance the kid would have even a semi-decent quality of life, then I would strongly consider it.

That's the difficulty of this question; there're so many possible mental/physical disabilities to consider. Sometimes it's obvious, like if the hypothetical child would die within a year. But with a spectrum like autism, there's no blanket answer (and before anyone gets fired up at the insinuation, I'm thinking about the severe cases where potential quality of life drops to zero). Whether to get an abortion is already a tough call to make. But that's a woman's personal call to make.

(For the record, never been pregnant, don't plan to be, and would probably abort if something happened. Lucky enough to know people who would be accepting/knowing/sympathetic if I did.)
