Below my knees, although not by my choice. I eventually told my mom she could cut my hair or I would cut it... diagonally, and it would be WAY shorter than she'd want to see. >_>

Ma Ham would basically buzzcut all the kids' hair, each summer, for... reasons? I don't know. Mom HATED it, because she wanted long hair, and then in the late 80s, decided to go for a bowl cut with perm (this did not end well), and even though she doesn't cut it except for trims, it's never gotten even to her waist. She (wrongly) assumed that I would hate my hair short and that, like hers, it wouldn't grow back right.

Um, it hasn't been below my shoulders since, and by preference, I prefer at the very least a bob. My favorite is a pixie-cut or whatever you call the cut with one side shaved and one short but not that short. Mom saw that one and it finally... finally... FINALLY... dawned on her that, "Wow, you really like short hair!" Yes, Mom, I'd only been trying to convince of that for HOW many years? Oy.
