78 - An abusive relationship is an abusive relationship, on- or offline. Talk to someone about this and stop roleplaying with her. One tip for stopping - don't get into long explanations. Keep it simple and just say that because of work or school, you have less time for the game. If she wants more details, don't give them to her. Just say you don't have time. Then block her from IM and your email. If the other people in your group are going to think badly of you for not playing in an RPG, then they're obviously not the kind of people you should have around you anyway.

I know it's difficult but she's obviously hurting you and you don't deserve this. Don't let fear and shame stop you from taking care of yourself.

63 - Asshole fans are asshole fans, regardless of whatever reason they use to justify their behaviour. At least you knew to avoid the LotR fandom, I've never seen such pretentious insanity masquerading as fandom before in my life.
