I can see that, yeah. It's the difference between "this is what canon indicates" and "ooh hey, this would be really fun to RP and it wouldn't contradict canon". Genuine affection, the kind that involves more emotional capacity than he shows in any episode except The Hard Part, is usually more fun in one-on-one pairing threads than the kind that's as selfish as Sylar seems to be portrayed. Usually. :D

We're in complete agreement there. As long as it's done well and is plausible within the bounds of canon, I'm open to anything.
