Goofiest fandom you've ever been in?

Whether it's the source material itself that was goofy, or just the fanfic/fandom, or both. What are those fandoms where you were like "wow, this is SO SILLY yet it's SO AWESOME."

Top Gear fandom. Before it got internationally famous in a big way, TG fandom was a lot of fun.

I dunno if 'goofy' is the right word, but the Elfquest Fandom is pretty chill and fun. People write and draw and have absurdly dramatic role playing games and that's always fun.

I don't know about goofy, but I think Hannibal fandom might have the best sense of humor. I guess you have to when the source material is that dark, but I delight in how morbidly hilarious it can be.

I don't think SGA fandom was goofy on a whole, but there WERE some amazing crack AU's in that fandom so I sort of consider it, too.

+ 1 with Hannibal. One of the nuttiest, crackiest fandoms I've ever been in.

It wasn't super super goofy, but the "Fringe" fandom was a real trip, especially in the latter seasons (there was a recap site that left me in stitches on a weekly basis). The cast members posted a lot of silly behind-the-scenes photos/videos too, which is always sweet.

Animated Disney is massive, but there are some parts (mostly the roleplay area) that are just pure entertainment and goofballness.

Final Fantasy X / X-2 / XII are amazing fandoms lol
